My 2025 – A Year of Strength, Clarity, and Intention

My 2025 has been a year lived with awareness. I didn’t just survive 2025 , I shaped it. I chose presence over pressure, nature over noise, connection over small talk, and resilience over frustration. I faced health scares with gratitude, leaned into community, deepened my family’s rituals, and honoured my body through training and movement.

I also set boundaries that protect my peace, and that’s no small thing.

I kept choosing what matters.

As 2025 comes to an end and the world rushes toward the finish line feeling stressed and overwhelmed, I’m choosing to pause. To breathe. To reflect. To celebrate the year that shaped me.

Do you ever look back at your year with intention?

Do you carry forward the habits that lift you up and gently release the ones that no longer serve you?

What brought you joy?

What drained you?

What deserves more space in your life and what needs to end?

Reviewing your year isn’t a five‑minute job. It took me a full hour yesterday and it was worth every second. I scrolled through my photos, relived the moments that mattered, and set intentions for 2026 with clarity and gratitude.

We began the year walking through the Wyre Forest, covered in beautiful white snow. My intention was simple: spend more time outdoors, because that’s where I feel most alive.

February brought health challenges. Some lesions were removed and came back pre‑cancerous. It shook me. I expected anger “Why me?” but instead I felt deep gratitude for the incredible medical team supporting me. That moment marked a shift in my mindset. I stopped fighting what I couldn’t control and started responding with acceptance and strength.

I connected with new people, built meaningful relationships, and let go of small talk. I surrounded myself with people who inspire and empower me.

I discovered that being outdoors is my daily non‑negotiable. Every day, I step into nature with no phone, no audiobook, no headphones, just me and the pups.

I swapped screen time for reading, kept my paper diary, and embraced more offline living. I learned how perimenopause affects me, and it pushed me to focus even more on my triathlon training. I was thrilled when my husband joined me for a Sprint Triathlon. Even after another surgery in May, I didn’t stop. I focused on what I could do.

This year wasn’t without its challenges or demons. But I made one promise to myself: I will not carry anyone’s negativity. I remove myself from it and stay aligned with what I believe in.

As a family, we filled the year with adventure – walking, wall climbing, paddleboarding, skiing, hiking, mountain cycling, wall climbing, and more. Our daughter qualified for her first National Competition in the sport she loves, and we couldn’t have been prouder.

So now I ask you:

What do you want to achieve in 2026?

Are your goals truly impossible or are they limited only by the beliefs you hold about yourself?

Would a community of like‑minded people help you move forward?

Would a coach help you stay accountable?

Do you want to feel empowered and thrive?

Whatever your goal is… start.
Don’t wait for Monday.
Don’t quit because it’s hard.
Don’t wait for the perfect moment.

Start now.

If you’re ready to take ownership of your happiness and become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself, take the first step. And if you need support, message me. I’m here to help.

Thank you for reading my reflection.

Love,
