I am done with the SKINNY TREND…

The “skinny trend” is back again, and honestly, it feels like we’ve stepped straight into a time machine headed for the 90s. But I’m not here to dissect that trend or give it any more oxygen. I’d rather talk about what I do believe in, what I know changes lives, builds confidence, and creates strength that lasts far beyond a season.

Today, I want to offer you a few reminders. Gentle ones. Honest ones. Necessary ones.

Stop chasing the body you had 20 years ago.

That version of you was wonderful, but she isn’t the benchmark. You’re not meant to shrink back into an old shape, you’re meant to grow into a new one.

Chase the version of you who can climb mountains.

The one who feels powerful in her own skin. The one who trusts her legs, her lungs, her heart.

Chase the version of you with stronger lungs, a stronger heart, and a stronger body.

Not for aesthetics. For life.

Chase the version of you who can look your parcel delivery guy in the eye and say, “I’ve got this.”

Because confidence isn’t a dress size. It’s a feeling you earn through showing up for yourself.

Chase the version of you who does hard things on purpose.

The version who knows discomfort isn’t danger—it’s growth.

Chase the version of you who’s exploring new skills, new hobbies, and new parts of herself.

Because movement opens doors far beyond the gym.

Chase the version of you who will stand at the top of her world—happy, confident, and proud.

She’s already inside you. You just have to start moving toward her.

Do it for yourself. And do it for the young girls growing up now, so they never learn to see exercise as punishment. Let them see strength as joy, movement as freedom, and fitness as a celebration of what their bodies can do.

Movement will, without a doubt, make your life better.
