From demotivated and exhausted to thriving and happy.

Lyndsey used yo yo diet. She tried all fad diets and non of them helped achieve sustainable results to the point, she didn’t believe any more that this will work. Last diet she was on was Fast 800 – very unsustainable approach that has left her tired and exhausted.

She wanted to be fitter, healthier and wanted to be a better role model for her children. She wanted to feel better in herself.

Lyndsey was also worried she was getting pre- diabetic.

She knew she had to do something differently, but didn’t know where to start and how to create a routine she can sustain.

Lyndsey, did you have any concerns before you started working with me?

I was worried as I was pre diabetic, my joints felt unstable and I didn’t feel a good role model for my children.

Why did you decide to work with me?

You were literally a stone throw away, and your approach was very individual to me. You listened to what I wanted to achieve and coached me on what was true and what was myth. (For example fad diets that don’t work in the long term) You have the qualifications and have had similar journey in finding yourself and being better for yourself and family

What were you biggest barriers to overcome to help you with your goal?

I wanted to move away from the quick fixes and fad diets. I wanted to find a personalised approach to suit my lifestyle. I didn’t really want to go to gym so I really like your garden gym. I was feeling exhausted, demotivated and pessimistic.

What were your 3 biggest wins?

I managed to lose 2.5 stone in just over a year and also managed to sustain this.  I increased my daily activity and role model behaviour to my children to be active. I have strengthened and continue to strengthen my joints as part of having hypermobility syndrome.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about starting their weight loss journey?

Start now, don’t overthink it. Find your “why” and this is what you need to think of when having the bad days. This will help more than anything. Don’t be too hard on yourself, start off slow, increase daily activity, drink more water, aim for small achievable goals that are quick wins. Set longer term goals that you can work towards as you progress

What was your favourite part of us working together?

We have a laugh and don’t take it too strictly. You coach me on my form and when I’m not aware of my own body You genuinely get excited when I reach a goal as much as me

Lyndsey’s main goal was weight loss to stay fit and healthy to be a great role model for her children.

How would you describe what I do?

An individual approach to like minded people who want to change their outlook on life, be role models for their children and get stronger physically and mentally.
