Andrea approached me after she finished my free August Challenge. She wanted a new approach to tackle the pre menopause rut she found herself stuck in. Andrea wanted sustainable approach to lose weight and find a way to sustain her results too.
She knew she needed to do strength training but didn’t know where to start or what to do. She is a busy working mum of 2 teenagers and wanted this to fit her busy working life.
Andrea, did you have any concerns before you started working with me?
Not really. I was trying to approach menopause in a healthy way.
Why did you decide to work with me?
I knew I needed assistance and accountability going forward and also wanted to be more confident with lifting weights.
What were your 3 biggest wins?
I feel so much stronger, I could tell the difference after only 3 weeks. I am definitely more confident lifting weights to go to gym on my own and do my workout.
I am clear about moving forward and what I need to do in order to maintain the habits I created and the results I achieved.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about starting their weight loss journey?
Just go for it! Break everything down into small achievable along the way and do you the best you can.
What was your favourite part of us working together?
Learning and understanding strength training.
How would you describe what I do?
Holistic approach to fitness & what people want to achieve
Andrea’s goal was to approach menopause in a healthy way, lower body fat and include strength training into her routine.
We focused on nutrition habits as well as activity levels habits to create a sustainable routine she can maintain. The key was to make it work and fit into her busy life. So Andrea did 1 PT with me and followed her home workouts I programmed for her.
We monitored progress regularly and adapted the plan if we needed to.
She became a better, healthier, fitter and stronger version of herself.
